Cheese Spread With Pepper Jelly

Cheesy Dip!

I’m feeling like a really fattening dip. I need cheese and carbs! Here’s one that really appeals to me. The whole cream cheese, cheddar, spicy factor does it for me.

Cheese Spread With Pepper Jelly

Serves 10

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup green onions, sliced
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
dash of hot sauce
dash of Creole seasoning
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 Jar of Pepper Jelly
assorted crackers

In bowl, mix together the cream cheese, green onions, mayonnaise, black pepper, creole seasoning and hot sauce.

Stir in shredded cheese and place in serving dish.

Top with Pepper Jelly.

Serve with favorite crackers and enjoy!

  1. Leslie,
Tony and Lisette gave us a jar of pepper jelly from N.O., and so I made the delicious spread. Your Aunt Marjorie and I took a good portion over to Lisette and Tony’s (they were taking us out to an Octoberfest dinner) and we had the spread with drinks. There was some left, and that was put aside for a 9 girl (Simone friends) sleep over that night.
Incidentally, Claire is quite a cook. She asks for cooking materials for b-days etc (we gave her an apparatus to bake a cake within a cake, which she did). Recently she said that she was bored, so she made yet another cake. Later this week she and a friend are making a pumpkin-themed dinner for 8 of their friends. Lisette can send you the menu.
    Your Uncle,

  2. So cool that your Uncle Bob wrote in! I remember when, so many, many years ago, he and Marjorie took us on a walking dinner in New Orleans. It was, obviously, a very memorable evening.

He won’t remember us, but HI Bob. Say hello to your wonderful wife. We remember you more than the food, but we remember the food was excellent.
