My sister-in-law, Rhonda, makes this rice Chex candy, which is one of the most delicious things on EARTH! I lost her recipe and asked her to re-send.
At the bottom of the recipe she said, “Sounds to me like you might need to make more than this.” You’re damn right sister!!!
OFFICIAL Rice Chex Candy
Serves 2 – absurd!!! Quadruple it!
1 Tsb butter or margarine
1 Tsb light corn syrup
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup Rice Chex
Melt butter in skillet. Add corn syrup. Add brown sugar and stir. Heat until mixture bubbles to twice it’s size. THEN cook 2½ minutes. Remove from heat and add Rice Chex. Pour onto a greased cookie sheet.
