Sandy from the Washington DC area, who is one of my best friends from college, sent me this gluten free dessert recipe. I thought I should pass it along to my gluten free friends.
Gluten Free Fruit Crumble
1 Cup of Gluten Free oats (I use Trader Joe’s brand)
1 cup Gluten Free flour (Trader Joe’s)
1 cup Millet flour
1/2 – 1 cup turbinado sugar
3 Tbs butter, (more if you like)
crystalized ginger, chopped, to taste
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp of allspice
Crumble topping mixture together.
4-5 nectarines, cut up
1 pint of blueberries
½ cup sugar
Toss the fruit with the sugar, then sprinkle the topping over the fruit and bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 45 mins or until bubbling and topping just starts to turn brown. YUM!
